Futera Team UK are really excited to announce the signings of our next Futera stars, Ruben and Seth Byrne. The young Plymouth based brothers are really starting to make a name for themselves nationally in the world of BMX and Mountain Bike racing.
Ruben, 12, is a downhill mountain bike specialist and part of the British Cycling Pathway Development Programme. Regularly competing with older competitors Ruben recently won the Gaston Gravity Winter Series and only last week dominated the Ashcombe Mini Downhill U14's to come away with 1st place. Last year (aged just 11) Ruben also managed a staggering 68ft jump at the famous Crabapple Hits Jump in Whistler, Canada - that is further than the length of two double decker buses!
Seth, 10, is a BMX specialist. A stunning season last year witnessed Seth being crowned the South West Champion and Overall Series Winner 2022. These head turning performances, again often competing (and winning) in older age categories has seen Seth qualify for his first Junior World Championships which take place later this year in Glasgow, Scotland.
